The BarberShop Android app (“the app”) is a customer client for barbershops hosted on barber-shop.us (and shops that use their own domain with this platform). Service Network operates the platform.
Who the app is for
Shop owners (admins) manage their business on the shop website. Customers (users) use the app to view a shop, book appointments, and sign in to their own bookings. The app does not provide owner/admin tools.
Data we collect
- The shop you connect to (shop slug or website), stored on the device.
- Name, email, and optional phone when you book or create a customer account.
- Appointment details for that shop only (tenant isolation).
- Session cookies used to keep you signed in to that shop’s API over HTTPS.
We do not sell personal information. Each shop’s customer records stay in that shop’s database.
Why we collect it
To connect you to the correct shop, complete bookings, send reminders the shop has enabled, and show your appointments.
Account deletion
While signed in, open Account in the app and choose Delete account. That removes your customer login and personal fields for that shop. You can also request deletion from the shop or at barber-shop.us/delete-account.php.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
